When I saw that today’s FAWM challenge was to write a song about the weather, my original plan was to tweet the challenge, and then head over to Weather.com to get a few ideas. A friend on my twitter timeline was saying how it’s a warm February, and that it may reach 60 degrees in NYC today, and the title “Warm Winter” popped in my mind. I still surfed through Weather.com, but the idea about warm winters stuck. I then thought about what else could make a winter warm, and this song came out of that. Enjoy!
Warm Winter Blues
by Carla Lynne Hall
I’m wearing short sleeves in December
I got my love to keep me warm
I’m wearing short sleeves in December
I got my love to keep me warm
Who cares about global warming
when my man is big and strong
I’m getting out my bikini
I got my love to keep me warm
Well, I’m getting out my bikini
I got my love to keep me warm
Who cares that it’s January
When my man is big and strong
I’m naked in February
I got my love to keep my warm
I’m goin’ naked in February
I got my love to keep me warm
Who cares about the weather
when my man rocks me all night long
